Clearview Alpaca Farm is nestled in the rural area of Essex County. We are located within 30 minutes of Richmond Virginia and just minutes from the Rappahannock River. The farm is made up of 250 acres of farmland, pastures, woods, creeks and the happiest alpacas around. Donna and Guerry Higgason became proud alpaca owners in 2005. Donna grew up on a farm with a wide array of animals and Guerry is a city boy that has learned to love the country life. Guerry is retired and gives the alpacas 24/7 attention hardly ever leaving the farm. Donna works full time owning a real estate appraisal company and managing the day to day activities related to that business. Our farm manager, Melanie Hundley Sisson, handles the halter training, feeding, medical, birthing and overall day to day activities while our farmhand Zachary Coyne handles clean-up.
